In response to ongoing concerns about the town parking payment scheme and its effects on local trade, Sean Lynch, President of Mallow Chamber, will hold three public meetings to discuss possible solutions to this ongoing issue. These meetings will be solution based as opposed to discussing the problem.
As a result of this consultative process, a petition will be drafted proposing a positive solution to the town parking issue. Once a final draft has been agreed it will be available for signing throughout the shops in Mallow for a two-week period from the 28th January to February 14th . It will then be submitted to the Kanturk/Mallow Municipal District and Cork County Council.
We have organised three meetings on January 21st, to allow as many people as possible to participate. These meetings will be open to the business community in Mallow as well as the general public. The meetings will held at the Hibernian Hotel Mallow at the following times:
8:30-9:30 am (Tea/scones available).
1:05-1;50 pm (Soup/sandwiches available).
6:05-7:00 pm. (Tea/scones available).
Attendance is free but as these are catered events booking is essential. This can be done by either e-mail email@example.com or by ringing the Mallow Chamber Office at 022-55660.
